IMPORTANT INFO FOR THE COMPETITORS OF THE 10.MARCIALONGA CYCLING CRAFT

RACE OFFICE

Start numbers must be collected at the Race Office in Predazzo during the following hours:
Saturday 11th June 9.30 a.m. - 12.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m
Sunday 12th June 6.00 a.m. - 7.30 a.m.

NEWS. It is mandatory to present the specific voucher and an ID document.

The collection of start-numbers by a delegate is allowed upon presentation of a proxy, the voucher and the copy of the ID document of the registered person.

For teams, a representative can pick up all start-numbers, presenting the list of all competitors signed and stamped by the Team President and the original receipt of the total payment. Upon request, to be sent to the Organising Committee not later than Thursday, June 9th,starting numbers may be prepared in a single box.
Numbers and gadgets will not be sent at home if not collected at the race office.

TIMING

The timing service will be provided by MySDAM, using MYLAPS ChampionChip technology. Participants must use a chip in order to have their race timed. They will be allowed to use their own personal chip or to rent a daily one.

Chips alloweded:

  • CHAMPIONCHIP YELLOWCHIP (international)
  • Rental DAILY CHIP

You can buy/rent a chip on the day of the race, at the MySDAM point. The price for the daily chip rental is 5,00 € + 5,00 € as a deposit. The deposit will be returned when you bring the chip back. Pay attention: you must return the chip within 15 minutes after the last participant crosses the finish line.
Participants not using the chip or not fixing it properly on the bicycle will not be listed in the official results.
Please note that the timing chip has to be placed proporly, as shown in the image below: 

 

IMPORTANT! If you won't fix the chip properly you will be excluded from the rankings!

THE START AND THE FINISH AREA

The start is at 8.00 a.m. The check.in at the gate is obligatory. The time limit for the medium course is 5 hours, for the long course is 8 hours.  
After the finish, the following services are available: bike deposits, dressing-room, showers, massage and pasta party.

SPECIAL MENU' FOR COMPETITORS WITH CELIAC DISEASE: Marcialonga pays attention to the participants who suffer from celiac disease offering them the possibility to have a meal which meets their needs.

CUT-OFF TIME

Competitors who do not pass the settled cut-off time gates will be considered out of the race

  • 12.00 p.m. Passo di Lavazè Km 60
  • 12.30 p.m. Predazzo Km 80 (after this time all participants will be redirected to the finish of the medium course)
  • 2.00 p.m. Passo San Pellegrino Km 100 

PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY

The prize-giving ceremony is scheduled at 2.00 p.m. in the main square of Predazzo. 

SERVICES ALONG THE COURSE: DRINK STATIONS, TECHNICAL AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

All services available are shown on the course profile


The use of private technical assistance is strictly forbidden and leads to disqualification. Fixed points for assistance are provided by the organisation or the competitor can help himself.

Regarding medical assistance, ambulances and first-aid assistance will follow the entire race.

ROADS

Streets are normally open and it is compulsory for each competitor to respect the Highway Code. A special service for those who leave the competition is provided by the organisation.

RESULTS AND DIPLOMA

The result list and the diploma will be available in real time on www.marcialonga.it.

PHOTO SERVICE

All the personal pictures will be published within a week on www.fotostudio3.com and can be ordered and paid via electronic shopping card.

SOME RULES TO RESPECT

To ensure the success of the cycling event, the Organizing Committee invites you to abide by some common rules:  

  • You are riding in the Dolomites: respect nature and keep the ambient clean 
  • Use the dedicated points and containers for throwing away plastic and food waste
  • For security and safety reasons, use the helmet
  • For the common decency, use the toilets placed at the start and finish area.
