PARTICIPANTS INFO 2021: COVID PROTOCOL

Dear competitor,

we thank you once more for your trust towards Marcialonga. We are sure that with your cooperation everything will turn out the best and that even this edition, yet different from the others, will be a pleasant experience.

Following the last regulations published by the Italian government before the 48th Marcialonga on January31, we can now share precise information on how the race will happen and which behavioural rules participants should follow. 

Should you have any doubts, do not hesitate to contact us.

Start and finish area will be the same, but there will be some changes on the track, to avoid the village crossing in Moena and Predazzo.

Check the requirements to enter Italy on the official Italian Govenrment page at this LINK. If you also need to get tested before going back to your Country, you can take advantage of the Centro Medico Fiemme (Cost: 60€ Book directly contacting them: Mon-Sat 8:30-12:00 / 14:00-18:00 Tel. 0462 502533. Responsible: Dott. Gravina). 

SPECTATORS:

The start and finish area will be closed and accessible to competitors only. Along the track, there will be controllers to check and avoid  spectators gatherings. We remind you that the event is closed to public. Your supporters can follow your race on www.marcialonga.it (link will be available on the race day), SKY SPORT ITALY or VISMA SKI CLASSICS. 

HOW TO REACH VAL DI FIEMME E FASSA

According to the National regulations, ONLY skiers registered to the 48th Marcialonga are allowed to reach Val di Fiemme e Fassa (Marcialonga is inserted in the list of the Italian National Olympic Committee CONI as a race of international interest).

RACE OFFICE – CAVALESE PALAFIEMME

THURSDAY 15:00 - 19:00

FRIDAY 9:00-12:00 / 14:00-19:00

SATURDAY 9:00-12:00 / 14:00-19:00

• ACCESS --> authorized only wearing a FACE MASK and following these steps:
• TEMPERATURE CHECK; only those with a temperature below 37,5° will be allowed to enter the building.
• Hand over the COVID-19 AUTO DECLARATION FORM
•  

BIC PICK UP --> you will requested the following documents: 

• REGISTRATION VOUCHER --> you will receive via email in the days before the race. Print it or save it on your smartphone and show it when collecting the bib. 
• PERSONAL ID

As this year the number of participants is lower that usual, the start waves will be reduced to 6. The week before the race you will receive your NEW BIB, that will still be allocated according to previous results.

AT THE START

BUS --> if you already booked the shuttle to the start, you will receive via mail a ticket with the exact start time of your bus. No more bookings will be accepted.

CAR --> we suggest you to reach the start by car and take advantage of the free parking on spot. The envelop will serve as an access PASS as the access to Moena through the SS. 48 delle Dolomiti will not be possible without the pass.

START --> there will be 6 start groups (group 1-2 inside the sport field, group 3-4-5-6 out of the field, accessing directly from the parking lot), see the table. 

CHECK IN --> The access to the start is only authorized after completing the following steps:

• TEMPERATURE  CHECK; only those with a temperature below 37,5° will be allowed to enter thestart.
• Hand over the COVID-19 AUTO DECLARATION FORM
• BIB CHECK - checking that bib corresponds to the start wave. 
• Check that the participant is wearing the FACE MASK.

CLOTHING BAGS --> at the start there will be a space dedicated to the clothes bag pick-up. The bags need to be closed correctly and the sticker with the participant's number must be applied on the dedicated field.

IN THE WAVE --> it is compulsory to put your skis on and enter the tracks maintaining the face mask on until one minute to the start. Please put your mask in your pocket or throw in the dedicated bins. DO NOT THROW THE MASK ON THE GROUND! 

DURING THE RACE

FEEDING STATIONS --> at the feeding stations, there will be a lane dedicated to all those who want to take advantage of the refreshment. In this case we invite you to:

• STOP (no refreshments "to go")
• Volunteers WILL SERVE YOU (NO SELF-SERVICE)
• DO NOT DUMP WASTE OUT OF THE BINS

FINISH

FACE MASK --> wear the mask that our volunteers will give you after the finish line

FINISH AREA --> after the finish, you can access the following services:

• MEDAL pick-up
• LUNCH BAG pick-up
• BUS to Moena (available for all the participants, no booking needed. The busses start from the bus station, until 19.00) 
• CLOTHES BAG pick-up

WITHDRAWN SKIERS

The broom car is active and will collect eventual skiers that withdraw from the race.

MARCIALONGA LIGHT

The Marcialonga Light finish is moved to the Ski Jumping Olympic Stadium in Predazzo, at km 43,5.

The same services as above, are also available for the Marcialonga Light competitors.

The BUS to MOENA is available for all the participants, no booking needed.
