The Italian Red Cross - Committee of Val di Fassa was born in 1968 to deal with first aid necessities for locals and tourists of the area. Nowadays, it is facing larger necessities, including medical, social and civil protection issues. 

The Red Crossi - Val di Fassa operates both in Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa involving more than 200 volunteers and 14 employees. The money raised through the relay, will contribute to the purchase of a new ambulance.
