The "Solidarmondo Trentino" Association was founded in November 2013 in Riva del Garda by some people who, after having lived a short but intense period of volunteering in Togo, and having seen that reality, decided to to follow up on their experience, making a concrete commitment.
The Association works mainly in Togo where it supports the Kouvè health-school center that it is coordinated by the Sisters of Providence.
A special space is reserved for children and young people deprived of their fundamental rights, such as food, health, education.
For this reason, after the terrible earthquake in 2015, we also wanted to give a concrete help to the children of Nepal, collaborating for the reconstruction of a school.
We place ourselves at the side of those peoples with a vision of cooperation as sharing and help for self-development, in close collaboration with the Sisters of Providence who work in various countries of the world.
We promote awareness and fundraising dedicated to children so that they can face their life with courage and find the tools to self-determine and become aware protagonists of the history of their country.

The funds raised thanks to the Marcialonga running - relay 2023, will be dedicated to the Kouvè Health Center, that has become the most important health organization of the most populated and poorest regions of Togo. The center offers assistance and medical cares, it promotes hygienic-sanitary and nutritional education especially for the health of women and children.
The maternity ward of the center has been recognized as a point of excellence for the care of HIV-infected mothers who, thanks to a precise care and assistance, can limit the transmission of the virus to their child.
